Band-ITS Barre

Teacher training – online learning course

On completion of this course, you will have knowledge and repertoire to conduct full-body, barre-based strength classes using safe resistance. Get the best of Pilates, Yoga and Functional Gym Training all geared towards the dancing body. The Barre programme requires a fixed barre to implement in dance studios.

This programme includes:

  • 4.5 hours of online content – anatomy, training principles and repertoire.
  • A 64-page colour manual to accompany the learning.
  • An ultimate Band-ITS kit (posted the day you purchase the course).
  • 2 small exams and certificate of completion.

I recommend at least 4-5 hours of self-practice outside of this course to learn the exercises, practice the variations and try the different resistances. Your certificate is reflective of this.
Access to the content will be released at intervals to give you time to absorb and practice it: with full completion after 4 weeks.

On completion of this course, you will have knowledge and repertoire to conduct safe strength and conditioning classes to your dance students in your studio. This programmes the Band-ITS Lower Limb kit and focuses on creating mobility, stability and strength around the core, hips and pelvis.

This programme includes:

  • 6.5 hours of online content – anatomy, training principles and repertoire.
  • A 61-page colour manual to accompany the learning.
  • A lower limb Band-ITS kit (posted the day you purchase the course).
  • 2 small exams and certificate of completion.

I recommend at least 4-5 hours of self-practice outside of this course to learn the exercises, practice the variations and try the different resistances. Your certificate is reflective of this.

These classes have been carefully designed by Sally to bring the foundations of dance physio rehab to the comfort of your home or dance studio.

This 10-week course will introduce techniques and exercises used regularly in physio and rehab sessions. It will enhance your core by primarily focusing on the hips and pelvis. This really is the ‘powerhouse’ area of the body for control and energy transfer. By continuing to repeat the course using progressively stronger band resistance, you can significantly increase your ease of movement, strengthen your body and drastically improve your dancing.

Access to the content will be released at weekly intervals to give you time to absorb and practice it, with full completion after 10 weeks.
